Had 3 funerals in only a couple weeks -- Proud of the church; the families were so grateful and felt so loved. Seeing the Sober lunch members in to support John Adamowicz was touching; lunch was great. Jeff did a great job -- especially with Helen Wood funeral which was last-minute. (Lois)
Ash Wednesday apartment fire...
Michelle, Alma & Wendy -- tripled the recipe for Ash Wednesday pretzels. There was no anxiety or frustration -- had a "whatever it takes" attitude. (Katy)
Having Julie Herod present in the evening; a great sign of inclusion, as well as sharing leadership with another clergy person. (Jeff)
Gluten-free pancakes for Shrove Tuesday; serving a young girl who needs gluten-free food. Dave Mathieu made that moment very special. (Jeff)
New Members at Brightmoor, two weeks in a row. Baptisms at both Redford services. (Courtney)
